Melanin In Motion is a culture-driven dance brand founded on January 26, 2025, by Temeshia and Justin Harris. What started with our first-ever line dance has grown into a movement celebrating confidence, culture, and community.
Confidence is built here, not required on arrival. Whether you’re stepping onto the floor for the first time or getting your rhythm back, we teach in a way that feels clear, supportive, and fun. Every count you learn, every song you finish, and every “run it back” moment helps you grow into your own style.
Rooted in trail ride traditions and Black southern culture, Melanin In Motion celebrates dance as joy, expression, and storytelling. Our movement blends music, rhythm, and community energy into an experience that honors where we come from while keeping the vibe fresh for today’s events.
